BAIRRO ALTO district in the heart of the city is the better place to understand how Lisbon lives by day populated by locals with all the old traditional businesses full of little groceries stores, new designers and by night for all the classic Portuguese restaurants, bars and the Fado, a long standing traditional part of Bairro Alto history.

In between the also famous and hip PRINCIPE REAL neighbourhood and CHIADO district our quiet street Rua das Gáveas is literally only 15 seconds from the Misericórdia street (borderline of Chiado/Bairro Alto) and from our doorstep you have only two minutes walking distance to the well known and famous Camões square. From this same square and right across the street you are at the one of the oldest and historical Cafés of Lisbon, the Café Brasileira (with the Chiado Metro stop right in front).

Two of the most famous funiculars of Lisbon (Glória and Bica) are at only 2 minutes walking from our doorstep.

For stunning views overlooking Baixa district and to Castle São Jorge you have the popular "Lisbon veranda", the viewpoint MIRADOURO SÃO PEDRO DE ALCÂNTARA which is simply a 3 minute walk.

Staying at ZUZABED LISBON SUITES you will understand the real meaning of "staying in Lisbon city center".
